Job Description:

We are looking for suitable Telemarketing Consultant with a minimum 4-5 years’ experience in institutional marketing or construction related industry. They will be responsible for promoting and selling company’s products or services over the phone. They are expected to reach out to potential customers, influencer segments, explain the benefits of the company’s offerings, and persuade them to make a purchase or schedule a follow-up appointment. He/she will be part of the sales team and work closely with sales team and marketing team to achieve business goals. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to handle rejection and adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Attend company’s customer service telephone line during work hours and nurture & convert each enquires into sales.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct outbound calls to schedule appointments or follow-up meetings
  • Contact potential customers by phone to promote and sell the company’s products or services
  • Explain the features and benefits of the products or services offered by the company
  • Generate leads and maintain a database of potential customers
  • Follow up on leads and conduct outbound calls to schedule appointments or follow-up meetings for sales team.
  • Answer customer questions and resolve their concerns
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and transactions
  • Update customer information in the company’s database
  • Work closely with other members of the sales team and marketing professionals to develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Participate in sales training and meetings to improve sales techniques and product knowledge

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Malayalam & Hindi
  • Should have Rapport building skills in person and over phone with a persuasive and convincing personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude to understand technical basics of products/services offered
  • Should be dynamic and quick to learn and adapt.
  • Should have Negotiation skills, Listening skills & Questioning skills
  • Savvy in Internet usage and data finding
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle objections
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using basic computer software such as MS Office
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus

Experience

  • Prior experience in telemarketing/consulting, sales, or customer service is preferred. Freshers with strong credentials can be considered for entry-level position.

Education & Certifications

  • A diploma/degree or equivalent is required. Candidates with a degree in Business Management/Administration will be preferred.
  • There are no specific certifications required for this position. However, completing sales training or courses in telemarketing, customer service, or sales can be beneficial.
